Takes the strain off of your lower back and keeps you from hunching over!
Let's face it -- nobody ever said "Oh goodie -- I need a walker!" These things are, at best, an acknowledgement of our aging bodies and their limitations. That said, if you need one, it might as well be a good one! And there's none better. The lower rolling walkers encourage you to bend over and put weight on your hands and wrists. This fella makes you stand up straight and gives you support in doing so. This particular model has larger wheels and is better suited to outdoor use than the others. It's true that you still have to pay attention -- pavement potholes can do nasty things to your stability. Also it's a bit heavier and bulkier than the others. Getting it into a car trunk can be problematic on occasion. You may have the reset the uprights to a lower setting and rearrange the junk in your trunk. But aside from that, it's a darned good walking machine! How good is this? Well, as we use this on our daily walks or at the botanic gardens it seems that we keep selling them to the folks who see us! Now if only we could get a commission for the referrals...

Great walker!
I’ve used this for nearly 2 years. It’s held up very well. It enables me to go over uneven surfaces. It’s heavy and not easy to load in the car so it’s not easy to transport. It is very stable and I can stand right either way it. Other rolling walkers seem to make people stoop.

Well built, some caveats, I suggest someone should accompany, assist and monitor usage
Product arrived well packaged, undamaged. Quality of materials, construction & design - surprisingly good. Even taking my time, I had it assembled in 30 - 40 minutes. Instructions are kind of spartan, have small example pictures. You'll "get there" but the manual could be improved. The Good:* If you are short, like 5 foot 2, or under, then you won't be hunched over much as you walk.* The Oasis Space walker unit looks good and the fit and finish on the wheels and main assembly seem well made.* The cupholder and front storage pouches are nice ideas.* The user of this device always has a place to stop and sit - in case they suddenly get winded or tired.* The wheels are large enough to actually be useful. You'll be ok if you are going over minor 1/2" diameter twigs etc.The bad:* The hand brakes are a "nice idea" BUT in the heat of battle (i.e. actual usage where a surprise comes up) the average elderly person is not going to have the wrist flexibility or reaction time to make use of them. The main legitimate use is for anchoring the Oasispace when one has to sit and recharge.* Height click level 3 is just sufficient height for my wife who a 5ft 1in tall grandmother and most definitely a senior citizen. We may eventually adjust the vertical support to the highest setting of "4".BOTTOM LINE: It does not appear this product is designed with midsized to taller adults (i.e. above 5ft 2 inches) in mind. While it is not impossible for someone above 5ft 2 to use this product, I think this rollerator will be more likely to snag or trip.TIRES: You want to be careful if you are using a powerful electric inflator like my Milwaukie or a DeWalt, etc. The difference between fully inflating and going to far and blowing the tire is small.Locking the expanded unit fully into place is something you'll need to learn how to do. Undoing the lock "latch arms" (that mate with 2 tangs in the assembly) is a little bit of a learning curve.IMPORTANT: 1. Watch for inclines, especially downward slopes. Don't let this "get away from you". This is a real safety concern I have.2. Watch for pits, potholes, disjointed sidewalk ridges and twigs larger than 1/2 " diameter.ANECDOTE: My wife, nearly tipped forward and over when the wheel swerved into a little pit/ indentation next to a concrete driveway incline. This happened in a flash, I had turned my back for a minute thinking she was self managing well, and MOST OF THE TIME, she is able to.OK, look, buy this, it's a good product BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE USED ALONE if the user is elderly or impaired. Always go out with an assistant. That's MY opinion. YMMV.UPDATE 4-21-2024: A week ago, we raised the height adjustment of this walker to level marker "4" and things (ergonomics, comfort) got a lot better for my 5ft tall wife.UPDATE: 5-04-2024 I bought a roll of this Yellow Reflective Tape --> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MQ1WP68/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and cut a bunch of 4 or 5 inch strips and "doctored" the outside of the walker. At one point on our daily walk, we have to use a marked crosswalk with no light on a minor, but busy arterial and we find that drivers either "play dumb" or are simply ruthless and have no mercy as far as acknowledging our need to cross that street. This is added visibilty - we still look out for ourselves. It's especially helpful at twilight. God Bless the people with enough class and awareness to stop for impaired pedestrians. We also have a couple of USB charged yellow reflective wrist bracelets.

The firm is fantastic
The firm's customer support is absolutely terrific. Truly first rate. What other reviewers say about the item not being for a tall person is true. Would be great if the manufacturer made the stems for the arm rests longer. Arms wobble a bit (manufacturer really should add a larger column for more support) for someone even 5'7"" (my wife). The real benefit is the pneumatic tires (and Elenker does not have a model with pneumatic tires). These tires make it much easier to move on a grassy lawn. Also, the wheels seem to move a bit more freely and not turn and get stuck like the Elenker. I have purchased two similar Elenkers for my wife - one with 10" wheels and then one with with 12" wheels. The larger wheels helped a bit, but it was still impossible for my wife to move across our relatively flat grassy lawn (they do work well on any hard flat surface). The Elenker does fold a bit more compactly (and may fit into a smaller space in a trunk). However, if you need something to use on grass, still a bit hard to do, but possible with this unit due to the pneumatic wheels - not possible with a non-pneumatic (the solid core) wheels. And again, the firm is absolutely first rate in customer support.

Life-changing step up from traditional rollator
I have a very bad back and having to bend down to use a regular rollator causes much pain after just a very few minutes of walking. This has been very limiting and has kept me from walking and enjoying nature which is what I love to do more than just about anything. This new stand up rollator is an amazing improvement. It feels like a miracle. Now I can walk a long ways in relative comfort without the usual need to stop and sit down every 50 feet or so. I can easily go on gravel pathways and even off the path without much problems. I feel almost reborn and more hopeful than I've felt in a very long time. I've only had it for a short time so can't speak to its longevity. It's easy to fold up and to get it in and out of the back seat area of my small car. I've had the back seat out of the car for a long time to make room for rollators and wheel chairs so not sure how it would be getting it in and out if the seat was in place. I love this thing and really like the pneumatic tires and large diameter wheels. Just what I needed to improve the quality of my life a considerable amount. If you have a bad back and enjoy the outdoors and need a rollator, I highly recommend this unit.
