My 2 yo has had so much fun with these. We’ve played in the sandbox with them and also in the water table. She loves them. They are technically a potential choking hazard (anything that can fit thru a tp cardboard roll can be!), but I don’t let her play unsupervised with them.

These little animal figurines are an amazing gift and great for children to learn and play. I've purchased previously the Animals of North America, the Rainforest, and the Whale TOOBS and my daughter loves to have them fight and swim and is using them to learn about the wonderful animals in her world. This year she is fascinated with dinosaurs so I snagged the Dino TOOB for her stocking. Even though she won't see them for another week, I already know how excited she is going to be. These are great!

I used to think dinosaurs were just big, scary lizards that roamed the earth thousands of years ago. I never knew they could--in miniaturized plastic form--touch my soul in such a profound way. Playing with these dinosaurs takes me back to a more innocent time in our Nation's history. I sometimes get lost in their eyes, wondering how they must have struggled to stay one step ahead of the caveman's spear. These little guys have taught me something about myself as well: I am larger than a dinosaur. In fact, I am larger than entire toob of dinosaurs! Seriously, these are pretty cool. My daughter and I have enjoyed them. She also likes the spinning globe that is the cap of the tube.

The TOOB toys are generally a mix, you never know what you'll get. Strangely, we got a few "pairs" of dinos in our package, which was fine. They fit nicely with my son's Dinosaur Train toys too!

Secondarily they make good gifts to younger relatives after they fulfill their role in games and have been replaced by better figures.

THE SAFARI LTD DINOS TOOB WAS VERY USEFUL BECAUSE MY DAUGTHER USE THEM FOR MAKE AQUARIUM CANDLES AND ARE REAL NICE.

I threw a wild animal party for my son and used these as cupcake toppers. Kids loved them and they took them home along with their goody bags.

Il tubo contiene 14 dinosauri, nella mia confezione ci sono due doppioni (2 apatosauri e 2 "forse" t-rex). Ci sono i dinosauri più comuni, triceratopo, stegosauro, apatosauro, brachiosauro, pterodattilo, dimetrodonte, spinosauro (forse) ... ed altri di difficile identificazione perchè le riproduzioni non sono proprio fedelissime. Ogni dinosauro è lungo circa 6,5 cm, e più o meno sono tutti della stessa dimensione, quindi, diciamo, non sono "in scala" e non sono rispecchiate le effettive dimensioni. Nel tubo non c'è l'elenco delle tipologie contenute. Il tubo è carino e si presenta molto bene, con una bella chisura a forma di globo terrestre che gira (a sua volta una piccola miniatura della terra). Nel complesso credo sia un regalo carino, ma non adatto a bimbi grandi particolarmente appassionati al mondo dei dinosauri che si aspettano magari riproduzioni più fedeli. Date le dimensioni, inoltre, non sono visibili i dettagli quali dentatura o artigli.
