Yes, you just have to get a red wire and a black wire to the battery and get your fuse put it on the red wire and you use the same switch but you got play around with the hookups it's about it. I'd did it on the work van that I drive.

I studied electrical engineering you actually can. You would need exact voltage say it's 24 volts. That's 2 9 volts and a few small batteries or just 3 9v in SERIES connected with aligator clips and that adds voltage but you'd need a way to charge it. Solar is an option

do you sell one to mount to plastic roof of a backhoe?

I can't speak for what the company sells but I can suggest that you mount a sheet of metal to the backhoe and then attach the lights to that.
