Have been using this now for 10 years and it is simply the best.

This product really does smooth out a close shave. I use a high quality shaving cream that reduces skin irritation, and adding a pre shave oil noticeably enhances the experience. It is priced substantially lower than similar products too.

The Art of Shaving system is inexplicably unavailable in the UK except through resellers, even though it is Gillette's premium shaving brand. This stuff is truly excellent - all of it. If you travel to the US buy a full set and then top-up using these resellers. The products last for ages (e.g. 10+ months for the shaving cream) and so are actually as cheap as the cheap products you can buy. Use sparingly and you will get 3+ months out of this tiny bottle of oil.

I’m a hardcore wet shaver, use a Muhle, with Feather blades. This pre shave oil lifts your beard, and gives you a super smooth, shave. It prevents razor burn, and leaves your face feeling great. A high quality product, use before lathering up, it protects your skin! Highly recommend! JT
