Works Great
This cream works wonders on silverplate. I couldn’t believe I couldn’t find it at my local Walmart.

Cream polish works great on my more difficult to clean jewelry pieces
I own a few pieces of handmade silver jewelry. I can't use most other types of silver cleaners because of the stones that are part of the items. I read the reviews for this product and thought that it would be gentle enough to try and so I did.The first pieces I have cleaned sold me on this product. I have three bolo ties that I designed which were made for me more than thirty years ago. I haven't worn them for quite some time as they had tarnished so much. Two of them include onyx and one has turquoise. One of them also included antiquing. I didn't want to use anything so harsh it would damage the stones, the leather ties, or the antiquing on the one item. What I found, in using Wrights Silver Cream, is that I could put the cream on with a soft but lightly textured cloth and then rub slightly. That removed all of the tarnish from the tips of the all of the ties and from the design portion of the two without antiquing. For the third one, I used the very soft sponge included in the tub and then wiped gently only on the surface of the design – which left the antiquing in place.I got the cream on the stones and on the leather and it washed off both with no problem at all. It didn't remove either the finish on the stones or the dye from the leather.Having said that, the product does caution not to get it in your eyes or on your skin. I worn inexpensive plastic gloves while working with it.I'm really happy to have found this product and will use it for all of my silver cleaning in the future. I have a couple of other pieces that are intricate and need care in cleaning and I'm sure that the method I described above will work well for those, too.

I am so pleased
I ordered Wright's Silver Cream to restore the finish of silver items my parents Received for their 25TH wedding anniversary and renewal of vows. Since the passing of one of my parents, the silver has not been used or polished in over 30 years. In order to prepare the items for use and the division among my family members who I want to have memory of my mother it was very important that the silver pieces were restored to their original glory. On a another note I was very impressed by the fact that the product included a polishing gentle polishing sponge in the jar stop full inclusion okay buns perfect perfect for policy was thoughtful and very practical allowing me not to search for appropriate cloth or sponges to polish the items. I chose the most discolored item which was a pure silver serving dish, I applied the silver cream now waited for a minute, rinsed and then proceeded to buff it with gentle rubbing. I was pleased that the dish was restored to its original brilliance and look as good or better then when it was received those 30 years ago. All silver polishes can restore the surface gleam but I was extremely pleased that this particular brand provided an outstanding renewal of a precious family piece to its original Beauty. I strongly recommend wright's Silver Cream for its ability to bring life back to your special family heirlooms

Really the best silver polish--and a household "hack"
I think this is the best silver polish there is. It is slightly abrasive, so it shines up silverware and jewelry. On that subject, if you fear for your plate wearing out from excessive rubbing, here's a "hack". Line a glass or plastic pan (like a lasagna pan) with aluminum foil. Then throw in a handful each salt and baking soda, fill the pan with HOT water. Dunk in your tarnished silver. Make sure it touches the foil at some point. There is a redox reaction that removes the silver sulfide and converts it to aluminum sulfide (you'll see the foil darken) and meanwhile, the tarnish leaves your silver, no rubbing needed. Great for heavily tarnished pieces. After that, you can SHINE up your pieces with Wright's, because the foil-salt-soda method does not shine your silver very much, just takes off the dark tarnish. This way, I don't have to rub so much to shine up my silver. I can't do without this stuff, because I like to shine my silver flatware before any dinner party, and I like to wear silver jewelry.

Good but needs another sponge
This is the first time I have polished silver. My grandma just gave me her wedding silverware. I was impressed with the polish, however it only comes with one sponge. For first time cleaning in quite some time the small sponge it comes with does not go as far as I'd like, however it washes out nicely so it just took longer to clean than I'd have liked. If just touching up silver the sponge is perfect. I'd purchase this product again.

Let Your Silver Shine!
For special occasions and holiday dinners, my mother always uses her good silverware that was passed down from her grandmother. They are beautiful pieces, but somewhere along the line my mom stopped using silver polish and the good silverware wasn't so good anymore. All of the pieces were tarnished and the tips of the forks were starting to turn black. It looked as though someone used our good forks to roast marshmallows over a campfire with. No matter how many times we would wash the silverware, they just never got back their shine. After Thanksgiving dinner last month, I decided to take it upon myself to polish the silver. I wasn't sure what polish I should use so I decided to give this Weiman silver cream a try since I thought it was a good price. The container comes with a little sponge. All you need to do is wet the sponge or your own towel, then rub the silver and rinse. The great part about this product is you don't have to scrub your piece very hard and it easily removes the toughest tarnish and stains. I was beyond impressed when I rinsed the cream off of my silverware. My forks that once looked like they were used to roast marshmallows with, was now in mint condition. They shined like new and I could practically use my newly cleaned spoons as a mirror! This product is great!I definitely recommend this product for anyone who needs to clean silver. It's easy to use, does the job, and the finished result is amazing!
