how are they for signing on a photo?

Pigma ink is designed for use on porous paper. It would not work on slick photo paper well. Please contact us with detail and we will suggest another product.

Can it be used on plastic?

Hi! Thanks for asking, no, it will not work on plastic. For plastic, or other non-porous surfaces, you can use Microperm which is a similar fineline pen, but with ink that adheres well to plastic or glass.

Do copic markers smear the Microns?

Yes, alcohol markers like Copic or Winsor & Newton will smear Microns, even when the ink from the Micron pen is dry. You'll want to layer your Copic markers first then add the Micron on top.

Are these permanent on fabric?

They can write on smoother, tight weave fabrics. We’d recommend fabrics that you do not intend to wash as some detergents may wash the ink out. Please test pen performance prior to final application.
