In the last few years, I've become prone to getting muscle cramps, like Charlie horses, in the middle of the night. I started taking magnesium and that helped in general. But I still had a problem: If I had one or two glasses of wine before dinner, my calf, shin, and/or foot muscles would spasm and wake me up in the middle of the night. NOT fun. When I had my last physical, I noticed my potassium was at the lower limit, so now, if I've had a little wine, I take either 1 or 2 tablets and it seems to really help. This Solgar supplement is definitely effective.
