How many gallons will this package make?

The directions recommend 1 bag per gallon. I didn’t count them but someone else said there are 10 and that seems right. So that means 10 gallons. I didn’t measure but filled a bucket with water and let it sit overnight. I doubt it needed that much time but the water was very dark by morning.

Can you use tap water or does the water have to be de-chlorinated?

I used tap water. Read organic gardeners don’ t like the chlorine. I mix it in a large bucket and like a fish tank let it sit and the chlorine dissipates.

So City water will not affect the microbes of this package?

Whoever said very few cities use chlorine in their water makes me scratch my head. Every state I have lived I can literally smell It in the sink water. Chlorine kills beneficial microbes. Use a cheap water hose filter at the least.
