The lamp starts working after a few hours, which fine because it needs time to heat the wax. It doesn't consume much electricity but if you are economical then get an LED bed lamp. This lamp also adjustable brightness (heat) so low brightness is not enough to get the wax to move.

This product arrived with dirty/cloudy glass and the wax does not float up. It does not work.

Lamp overheats!!
