Harmless fr the cost of it...with sponge dino chargers. Which fire about 3 ft My son separately ordered proper dino chargers.... And they wouldn't fit this. Very disappointing product.

Bought this for my little brother and he loves it. Power isn't as good as nerf guns but still does the job well. Wish there were more darts as he kept losing them.

I bought this for my son's 4th birthday. He is a Dino Charge fan and he loves this toy. Very sturdy but the missiles do not last long. Works well with $1 store refills.

My 5 yr old son is really into the Power Rangers, so he is making the best of this gun, emphasizing his imagination on the novelty of the Dino Charger itself. In fact I think he is having more fun holding up the charger and saying various phrases from the Power Rangers Dino Charge episodes he watches, like "Super Power Dino Charge! Power Up!" then running across the room with adorable action packed speed LOL. In terms of the gun itself and its actual functionality, his first response was quote, "this gun is Bunk! It barely shoots 5 ft.!" The charger pops the scope up automatically, however the scope can be manually popped up without the charger installed, which really takes away from the 'coolness' factor. I suppose the price speaks for itself, when compared to the 'actual' Dino Charge weapons, which light up etc. when you insert a charger, which I believe you can get numerous chargers that work universally, that should each do different things. I have found those guns to cost upwards of 50 dollars. I would pay the same as I paid for this gun (17 bucks), for a Nerf gun at Wal-Mart, and I'm SURE the shooting distance would greatly exceed 5 ft.. At least this weapon shoots bullets. His other Dino Charge weapons I purchased for Halloween, which claim to 'light up' and do various other things with different chargers installed, do NOTHING. Since Halloween I've noticed the descriptions of those weapons have changed to show the word "costume" in every one, which means I'm not the only one who noticed the false advertising. Also, beware of those more expensive and NON FUNCTIONING power ranger weapons. Those one's look much cooler, but upon closer examination you can tell the paint is very costume like and the 'lights' etc. are merely painted on 'props'. Don't get caught paying the big bucks for a completely non-functioning weapon. This category of weapon is a good compromise, for a young boy who really just wants the "Power Ranger" look for his own playful imagination. I purchased the red one as well for my 3yr old niece's Pink Ranger Costume, and that one actually has a little more distance to the shot. Just make sure to do your research, or you may end up with a really expensive 'movie prop'.
