KenwoodExcelon KFC-XW1200F 12in Mount Subwoofer Car

I wish they hit a bit lower but for a shallow I am so impressed. I’m running 3 of these in my pickup and they handle power well and play very clear matched bass for the rest of my system. Even after trying ds 18s rated higher in power and frequency response these look and sound really on point. Box is sealed 1.8 cubic ft per sub. Would love to hear if someone has them ported

UPDATE:I installed these subwoofers 2 years ago. I use them daily, crank my music way too loud, and they subs are STILL goin strong. I originally posted these as 4 stars but their longevity bumps'em up to FIVE. You won't regret these subs!Excellent product. I'm always ecstatic to drive, whether it's my morning commute, running errands, anything. For shallow mounts they punch pretty hard; I've had regular depth subs before and I've noticed minor differences. I'll lay it out in Pro/Con bullet points-Pros:-Durability-Break in quickly-Strong sound even with back seats down-Still room for back seat passengers with everything installed-Some bass tones will really shake your truck-All music sounds better by a thousandfold-Audiophiles will find nirvana (it's hard to find quality subs that fit in the back of a truckCons:-Some really low bass frequencies that these subs just can't hit-Sacrifice a little bit of backseat legroomClosing thoughts:Probably the best shallow mount subs you'll be able to get for a price that doesn't break the bank. For the price they are, these are what truck owners are looking for.HIGHLY recommended.

Awesome speaker, nice, strong and clear sound

This Kenwood sub is AWESOME! I had a Rockford R2 shallow mount and I blew it with my alpine 900 watt amp. I still have the same amp wired to the Kenwood and it take the power really well. Granted I don't have the amp turned up all the way. But man does this sub hit! And on top of that it hits all kinds of bass notes, the highs and the lows! I have it in my 2001 dodge ram in a custom box I built that goes under my back bench seat since no one makes single twelve boxes for my truck that go under the rear seat. The box is approximately 1 cubic foot, at most, of airspace. I love this sub and will never go back to a Rockford for shallow mount subs. If you want a great sub at a pretty decent price this is it!

Item just as described! HookedOnTronics had the best price of anywhere I looked, fit perfectly into the Atrend 12 box I bought for under the rear seat in my 2014 RAM. Works perfectly with the Kenwood Amp and Audio Control LC2i i bought to keep my factory radio. Sub has great clean sound,Gives off plenty of bass, and works perfect for my use.Would definitely recommend this product!Also if you have a 2014 RAM if you're putting this under your rear seat it fits in the box like a glove. Recommend this and purchasing a Bar Grille and the seat spacers to lift the seat 5/8ths from Fox Acoustics. Awesome setup in my truck, I couldn't be any happier!
