We are proudly Italian over here, (like, fresh-off-the-boat Italian, in my husband's case,) and we've been making arancini by hand the way my mother-in-law taught us for 15 years now. We know arancini. So when our family back in the old country suggested we look into getting these molds, we were skeptical, but we trust them on this kind of stuff, so...Yo, for real, our arancini are way better now. You can get a clean, dense pack of rice with no mess, consistent portions, and at a quarter of the time and hassle that comes with hand-packing. If you make arancini on any sort of regular basis and you've got space to store another couple of hyper-specific cooking gadgets, these are 100% worth the price.Our only quibble with the seller was that the packages appeared to have been opened and beat up before coming to us. Perhaps someone bought them, used them once, and returned them? Not a big deal, for this particular product, since they're hard plastic and we would have washed them before using them anyway, but it's the principle of the thing.

Its perfect. Makes nice consistent Arancinis cone or round shape.Like it so much, I bought a second set for someone else. I use cling wrap to prevent it from sticking to the mold. Rinse or replace cling wrap after making a few.

Making stuffed rice balls. Came out very nice, all the same size. They are quicker to make, and cleanup is a breeze.
