No problem, packed well, good quality finish.

It’s very hard to find these sprays since the Covid-19 shutdown. Everybody has the same idea to re-paint and rejuvenate planters and start projects since being cooped up at home. I’ve always trusted Rust-Oleum products as long as I can remember. Great and consistent coverage; especially if using for outdoor purposes.

This review is specifically for Rust-Oleum 302153 Universal All Surface Clear Topcoat Spray, 11 oz, Hammered Clear. I was hoping to add a "hammered" effect over an existing base color, because the selection of those actual hammered paints is very limited. Despite the name "Hammered" it's just plain clear coat. Heavy coat, light coat, over bare metal, painted metal. Nothing. With a heavy layer it adds barely visible pitted texture, but nothing like an actual "hammered" paint.

I really like the metallics in this hammered finish, but this product was meh for me. The finish didn’t seem hammered, just matte. And some areas had a fuzzy, frosted finish that I had to lightly scrub to make look normal. Perhaps I didn’t use it correctly. Do some reading and a swatch test before you commit.
