I really enjoyed this book; reading it is like reading a conversation rather than a textbook.It's very accessible, and brings even a novice up to speed to be able to understand terminology, technique and even goes down to explain the consequences of colour choices and ROI (return of investment). I just ordered myself the body word and rust books from the same author because I loved this one so much. The photos help a lot too, especially if you're a visual learner. This book, plus whatever you find on youtube you get a great sense of what you can accomplish.

If you're looking to paint your car for the first time then this book is a must read. It details everything a beginner needs to know to get up to speed on painting their own car.

Good book. It helped me get back into Automotive Painting.
