I wanted a decaf black tea for evenings and this had good reviews so I bought it. The reviews were not accurate.This is tea only in the strictest definition. It is tea leaves and when you brew it you get a brown liquid that vaguely smells of tea, but that is as far as it goes. The flavor is mostly just hot water with a small bit of astringency.I would have blamed this on the tea being decaffeinated, but I've enjoyed other brands of decaf tea with good body and flavor.Please save your time and money, avoid this "tea".

I had bought from another tea company some little tins of tea and one of them that really intrigues me was called afternoon tea. I never heard of it so I gave it a try and it's a much lighter and more palette uplifting kind of tea I read that it is one that many of the British drink with their evening meal. So I was looking for some loose leaf tea of that blend but didn't come up with anything really so I decided to give this one a try even though I never read anything saying that the afternoon tea blend is decaffeinated. But I just thought well what a bonus if I want to try and defy my nocturnal ways this still meets the criteria then. I just brewed a cup even though it's the morning and it is spot on just like the other t I had. So some people had been saying that it doesn't brew as strong of a flavor as what they would expect. I think that if you are looking for something more like that you may want to look to breakfast tease or other sorts but this one is that light and kind of an earthy fruitiness not really like actual fruit. But it's the perfect English afternoon tea blend. It's very fresh tasting now I know where to go to get my afternoon tea blend in bulk finally.

Excellent tasting tea and I don't have to worry about ingesting microplastics from tea bags. This tea can be composted for my garden. Tea bags can't and must go to the landfill. So teabags are wasting good compost and causing pollution.
