will these strings work on a Hofner contemporary 4 string bass.

I have a squier vm jazz bass. my strings are 45-100 stock fenders. will these require a set up after installing?

The other Rotosounds now come in a sealed bag. Do these come in a bag or a box?

Are these strings the same as Steve Harris signature's, but in a lighter gauge?
