Micro MESH Soft Touch Sanding Pads

This is the second set of these that I purchased. I used these after using sandpaper on my crusty grand piano pedals. After sanding the old patina down to smooth bare metal, I was able to use the sanding pads to get the metal to shine like new pedals. I was lucky that the piano had spend quality time in someone's home(s) so that there were no wear areas. Coupled with the polishing compound, one can see one's self in the reflections. These made the work easy. To address the "Ideas", the size is correct because they're easy to hold due to the amount of squish and the rounded corners. They are of excellent quality because even after the color fades, I can still use them for excellent results. The color coding makes it easy to progress to the next appropriately finer grit. The grits progress in such a way that, when used in order, all scratches disappear. "Smell?" Really? They don't smell like anything. They smell like air, and that is fine with me.

Durable and accurate sanding pads! Works best wet, minimal clogging. Grit size chart is a bit odd but the color coding helps. I added the number on the edge of each pad with perm ink for fast reference.

Used these pads to sand and polish a Chinese "tribute" Les Paul I recently purchased. The frets were corroded and quite scratchy when the guitar arrived. After about an hour going through the various grits, my frets are now smooth as glass! I like that they're soft, so they can bend around the fret. Easy to handle. Great product! Highly recommend.

So easy to use to get a VERY smooth finish. The pads are a little small for large hands. However, they do what they are supposed to and do it well.

These little waterproof sanding pads are super helpful to me for my ring making projects I love that they have so many grit sizes. Definitely good quality and durable. Also comes with a guide as to what color matches what grit.

Before I purchased these pads I was just using 400 grit sandpaper to put a final finish on my pens that I was making on my lathe. I bought these specifically to use on acrylic pens but I've also been using them for my wood pens. By the time you go through all these pads the finish is amazing. The acrylic pens are like glass and the wood pens have a nice shine even before I put on my friction polish. I highly recommend these for woodturning projects....pens, bowls, handles, etc.

Got these because they were recommended for restoring vulcanite pipe stems. They worked great. I appreciate the color coded grit system.
