Fox Run 3839 Mortar and Pestle, Marble, Black

El producto me llegó en buenas condiciones, no estaba roto y estaba resistente. Llevo casi dos meses con el producto y la verdad estoy muy satisfecho, compre el pequeño y creo que es muy útil para moler diversas especias, a pesar de que está pequeño es algo pesado pero muy resistente, excelente producto

Amazing. There was a weird smell as first, but after I washed it before my first use the smell left. Its very efficient and easy to use and clean. It has a nice weight to it that helps for holding and grinding the ingredient. Just what I needed to grind my own spices and seeds. Also perfect to grind pills.

Likes: - Stylish, dark - Stone - Heavy (Not cheap feeling at all) Dislikes - Heavy The "heaviness" of the item is something I both like and dislike. It is heavy enough to where I feel it would be difficult to break it by accident. It, however, is also heavy enough that you wouldn't want to put it on a high shelf to find. This is something that should sit out on the counter top or be at a level that is easy to grab. Don't mistake my point by thinking it is like a block of lead in weight, it most certainly is not. It can be moved around relatively easily for me, however, I am considering the grandmothers out there that may not want something that is this heavy. The mortar was well designed and arrived with no chipping. The feel is solid and the look is a dark stylish one. It definitely goes well with dark wood cabinets & silver appliances (if that is a concern). The pestle, likewise, was in good condition as well when it arrived as there was no chipping or anything. Based on my initial use and observations I rate this item as high quality. I will update my review if over the next couple of months something causes me to change my original opinion, but for now this is where I stand.

Excellent mortar and pestle. Very deep so stuff doesn't fly out when trying to crush things like pepper corns. The surface of the pestle and inside of the mortar are very rough which makes grinding spices effortless. Its very heavy, so feels strong, but not to heavy that you can't lift it to pour stuff out. The last M&P I had, the pestle broke in a couple of days. Even though it was the same price as this one it was poorly made. With this the pestle seems very sturdy and easy to handle. I recon it will survive anything you throw at it (and probably would fair better than anything you threw it at!). So pleased I'll be buying a second one as a present for someone else.
