My sons kept checking this book out from the library. We had it in our home more than the library had it for several months. Finally I decided we needed our own copy. For months now it seems like one of my 3 boys is reading it!

Awesome book for getting project ideas. This heavily revised edition seems to be oriented at the high school to college level of understanding, or the novice level. The original book had more suggestions of an advanced level. But it for a more experienced hobbyist or inventor.

Great source of DIY projects. From the simple to the challenging each project is rated for time and difficulty. The use of simple tools pervades throughout the book. This is the must have for makers new or experienced.

Every maker should own this book. The ideas from the book are really inspiring and you can feel author's passion about the subject in everypage.

Paid about 7 dollars for a like new used copy and happy enough with it for that price. It's a pretty quirky mish-mash of project ideas, some good, some, well.. It doesn't provide much detail for teaching skills but was entertaining to browse through.

It's a great book for the gadget making people. Shows you steps by steps very awesome book.
