Natural, Dewy, and Feels Like Skin!
This foundation is everything I’ve been looking for! The 040 Neutral Hazel shade matches my skin perfectly, and the formula melts in like a second skin. It's lightweight but buildable, so I can wear it sheer for everyday or layer it for more glam days. My skin feels hydrated thanks to the hyaluronic acid and watermelon seed oil, and it gives a healthy, dewy finish without looking oily. I also love that it’s vegan and cruelty-free—huge bonus. Definitely a new staple in my routine!

Not a true neutral
I have very dry skin and this foundation worked pretty well for the most part. There were a couple of areas that looked a bit dry at the end of the day, but the rest looked good. I applied a very thin layer and got excellent coverage. I also really liked that it is very long lasting and it did not wipe off my face or anything if I accidentally touched it. The only problem is the color. I got one that states it had a neutral undertone (002 neutral); however, it was quite pink and did not blend into my skin very well. My neck and chest definitely did not match the color of my face. Neutral is not supposed to be too pink nor too yellow (nor peach!).

The Only Foundation I’ll Use — Dewy, Hydrating, and Finally a Shade That Matches!
I’ve tried dozens of foundations over the years, from high-end to drugstore, and this is the only one I keep coming back to. It gives me that rich, dewy glow I love—without needing to set it with powder—and actually feels good on my skin. It’s lightweight, hydrating, and makes my complexion look smooth and naturally radiant. One of the best things? It actually matches my very light skin. That’s incredibly hard to find, especially without going into luxury price tags. The undertone is just right—no weird orange cast, no ashy finish—just a seamless blend that looks like real skin. And the price? Honestly, it feels like a steal. It performs like a foundation three times the price. I stock up on it because I’m afraid of it ever being discontinued.Pros:✔️ Gorgeous dewy finish—no powder needed✔️ Hydrating, breathable, and lightweight✔️ One of the few true matches for fair/light skin✔️ Doesn’t cling to dry patches or settle into fine lines✔️ Super affordable for the qualityFinal Thoughts:If you want a foundation that’s hydrating, gives a beautiful skin-like glow, actually matches pale skin, and doesn’t break the bank—this is it. I’ve completely stopped searching. This is my holy grail.

Wanted to Love It, But It Just Didn’t Work for Me
I had high hopes for the Catrice True Skin Foundation, especially since I love the Catrice HD foundation and was looking for something a bit more skin-like and moisturizing. Unfortunately, this just didn’t live up to my expectations.I’ve given this foundation multiple chances because I really wanted to make it work. I tried it with different primers, without primer, over exfoliated skin, with and without moisturizer—you name it, I’ve tried it. No matter the method, the result was the same: patchy and unflattering. My skin is generally normal but tends to lean a bit dry in the winter, and this foundation clung to every dry spot, especially around my nose. It also settled into fine lines, making me look older than I am (I’m 37). On some days, it looked decent upon application, and I’d get my hopes up, thinking I finally cracked the code. But shortly after, it would break down and look patchy and uneven.I was hoping for a natural, skin-like finish with a touch of hydration, but it emphasized texture instead. If you have oily skin or maybe very smooth, perfectly prepped skin, this might work better for you. Sadly, it just didn’t suit my skin type or needs.I still love other products from Catrice, but this one was a miss for me. I’d recommend the Catrice HD foundation over this if you’re looking for something that looks more natural and doesn’t settle into fine lines.Hope this helps someone who’s on the fence about trying this!

Performs like a luxury foundation
This performs like the 50 dollar Kosas foundation. It's giving baddie on a budget. 10/10 for 10 bucks are you kidding me??? Cop it now. Just buy it.
