Price to performance is outstanding
Bought to replace factory speakers in my 2020 Jeep JL. Anybody with a factory jeep system is more intimate with road noise than your audio.I was just looking for budget options to get me by until I really threw money at it BUT these are for sure staying in the dash. TL/DR these do more than expected for their size. Very crisp tones and you’ll hear everything you’re looking for in your tunes. It’s long. You’ve been warnedOnce broken in…. Around 4-5hrs they really started coming to life. I defaulted all my sound settings. No loudness no speed adjust no extra bass mid treble etc etcJust played while on the road with a wide variety of genres. Slowly but surely was able to go louder and louder with those defaults zeroed out. Now I can go max volume with everything still default. It’s louder than the road noise and you’ll be yelling at passengers for no reason cause you got a volume knob.I can hear a bit of everything coming through. The bass…. It’s a 3.5” it ain’t rattling anything but in a jeep dash it does punch 10000x over factory. I’m an OG bass head since the 90’s I wasn’t expecting anything from it but this little thing is awesome. At max volume I can bump it up +3 before it wants to distort. Punches way above its weight.Mids can be harsh when maxed out volume but it doesn’t distort. I opted to tone it down -2 and it’s not wanting to run away with mid tones overpowering everything else. Sound much clearer for my applicationTreble is bright!!!! Didn’t need to tone it down but it’s crisp, clear, and if you’re too sensitive it’s gonna bother you with its output at max volume BUT it’s what you need in a jeep with the doors and top off. With the windows down doors off wind blowing you’ll hear your music just fine.I didn’t have to modify them to fit the soundbar but I did have to drill new mounting hole. Speaker grills cover it just fine. I’m going to get speaker pods for the soundbar so they won’t stay but I'm for sure getting 6.5 or 6x9 infinity reference for it.

Good replacement for 2015 Ford Edge center speaker
I bought this to replace a "blown" OEM center dashboard speaker in a 2015 Ford Edge. It is a significant improvement in sound quality. The kit doesn't really come with instructions, but just a diagram. There's plenty of video tutorials online. I wasn't sure what the kit would come with for connecting the new speaker. It comes with nothing. I ended up reusing the wiring harness from the original speaker, which has a very specific plastic connector piece. While there are similar looking wiring harnesses for sale online, I could not find one which had the specific pin and slot orientation for what was needed in my vehicle. Fortunately I have a solder gun and was able to solder the original wiring harness to the spade type connectors on the new speaker. This is the first time I've replaced a vehicle speaker, so I'm not sure if other vehicles are wired with spade type connectors, or if they have something like my Ford Edge had. I didn't bother using the included capacitor which I think limits the bass range. It sounds fine without it, in my opinion. I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Fits 2007 FJ Cruiser dash by drilling one hole. HUGE improvement
I'd been looking to replace the OEM speakers in the dash. These fit perfectly if you remove the factory speaker & bracket.Just rotate the speaker so the connectors face that side's front door. Use one of the factory tapped holes for one side of the infinity and use a self tapping screw to secure the other. Insulate around the top of the speaker with foam of tape ! The factory grills will snap back on securely. What a HUGE improvement in the sound !

Power rating is a bit misleading
Theses speakers sound pretty good and I highly recommend them if you need a replacement ASAP and don't wanna dish out too much money. These are seemingly the best value out there. However, the description says these things are 75 Watts but doesn't specify if it's peak or RMS. 35W RMS AND 75W PEAK is the actual power rating. My stock system puts out 50W RMS to the smaller midrange speaker so I'm a bit weary of these lasting long. I've gotten some distortion from both of them a few times within the week or so ice used them. Maybe because I pushed them too hard or because my crimping isn't the best. I think the latter is the reason so I'm going to solder them today instead
