Very good torque wrench. This wrench has been in daily duty at a car dealership, it gets used multiple times every day. It has been flawless, and is very accurate, nice click, very well made, excellent tool. Only one gripe and I knew that from the reviews going in...the ball retainer on the anvil is very stiff, and it makes getting sockets back off quite difficult. I was hoping this would break in after time. I still find myself prying the sockets off with a pocket screwdriver at times. It's better than having them fall off, however. I try to keep that in mind. Minor quibble, but figured I'd mention it. It does not seem to break in or get better with time. Love this tool overall!

Far superior to micrometer torque wrench. Extremely durable tool. High quality at a fair price. Setting the torque is as easy as flipping the side leverand turning a side wheel. Plus it’s made in the USA. I also have a 1/2” split beam torque wrench by the same manufacturer. No regrets whatsoever in purchasing these torque wrenches.

I wish I had bought a Precision Instruments Torque Wrench years ago! This wrench is easy to use and ACCURATE! It has a recent Certification of Accuracy in the box with it. I'm now confident I won't be stripingscrews/nuts on my 1985 BMW R89RT Motorcycle Cylinder Head! I'm not a mechanic, but I do work on my own motorcycle and this torque wrench insures that I won't mess it up.

Purchased 3 Precision Equipment Split Beam torque wrenches. All had defects within the factory warranty periods and 1 was within 3 months of purchase. All were not backed by factory warranty. Customer service was minimal. If you're looking for this style of torque wrench with this low of torque specs you'll be limited, advise looking into another style/company.

This is truly an impressive piece of craftsmanship. Feels and performs like no other torque wrench I ever used feel like it should be in a show case instead.

I love it! Sold my overpriced battery eating snap on tech wrench, for this. Guess what? When I need it, the batteries aren't dying! Love it!! Always there and accurate when you need it. Couldn't ask for more.
