Q: Does the jar need to be ''finger-tight'' or can it be sealed firmly inside a pressure cooker?

Leave the lids a quarter turn loose while in the pressure cooker so air can escape, otherwise the injection ports will pop out

Q: Does anyone know if these come in wide-mouth?? Seems like it would be much easier to get the spawn out that way…

Yes it does in metal, but it does not thread flush though. At least the 6 I have don’t.

Q: Do I need to cover the syringe filter with foil when pressure cooking or can it get wet?

I do not and I’ve not had any issues with contamination or water getting in.
