I got this for an elderly friend with severe hand arthritis and a bad back.No more hunching over a zimmer tray for him! It's got a big handle so he can hold it, it's light, really handy to cook in and he's now finishing his breakfast porridge and soup every single day. I have to get a second one for his tea now!I only regret not getting one sooner because we were really worried about him barely eating.

Bought as certain other members of the family seemed incapable of heating soup in the microwave without exploding it all over the inside of the oven and leaving it for someone else to clean.Very pleased with the mug. It hasn't completely eradicated the splattering. I think a small amount still escapes from the vent on occasion, but compared to what was happening before this is perfect*. Portion wise it takes a mug size soup tin or half of a standard sized tin.* It's also possible that when I'm not there they aren't using the lid!Overall - Great.

I have soup for lunch at work almost every weekday and I've destroyed a few so called 'microwavable' pots. I have some other Sistema products and they've proven flawless over time, so this was a an excellent choice, but one I should I have made sooner. It's easy to wash, the button (?) On the top allows you to microwave the food easily and safely and the handle is really ... Well...handy.

I actually like it. A bit disappointed in the beginning as the images were misleading, I thought it was going to be big, but and there is always but, I think it is small in size and big in practicality i.e.it fits for the purpose perfectly fine. I get soup for lunch everyday, and sometimes I don't even finish it. Cleaning is easy, microwave friendly, what else can I ask for ...

This is the second one I bought, but red this time not green (although I ordered a blue one). I chose red as I found a slight discolouration inside the green one after use even though it was cleaned in the dishwasher. Haven't used it yet, so cannot comment further until then.
