I purchased this so I could make my own bungee cords to hand some banners for Christmas. Bungee cords come in a variety of lengths, but sometimes you need an extra long one for a special project. You can buy the bungee cord on a roll and can get the hooks on Amazon. This way you have everything you need to make cords of any length. The pliers are easy to use and the steel rings hold securely. It comes with a variety of sized rings so you can use them for different diameter bungee cords. This is a good tool to have in your tool shed. It's inexpensive, works well and is very useful for a number of projects.

Tool is high quality and well worth the time it saved in repairing a car seat that was in good condition but the old clips had just disintegrated.

I bought this because I needed to put together a wireframe cage that came with hog rings! I ended up needing more rings as well, so it worked out buying this kit. For the most part, this product is super simple to use. Put the ring into the slots for each side, squeeze the pliers, and the ring closes. However, I found, quite obviously, that sometimes the ring would rotate instead of squeeze close, which was a pain since I would then have to re-seat the ring in the pliers. I feel like there could have been some resistance slots inside the little pockets to make sure that the ring didn't rotate, resulting in cleaner squeezes. The red grips on the pliers would rotate as well, and sometimes slip off, which was a mild inconvenience, but an inconvenience nonetheless. The pliers have resistance on the way open, so you'll have to spend some finger strength to open the jaws to put the ring in. The rings themselves are made out of a pretty decent quality, as are the gloves that came with the kit. The gloves came in handy after a while since my hands started hurting after the 50th or so hog ring (I was squeezing pretty hard...perhaps unnecessarily hard). Overall, it did get the job done, and it's pretty straightforward what to do. Ease of Use: 4/5 - Open the pliers against the resistance (which starts to feel pretty heavy after a while), put the ring in, put the ring around the thing you want to bind, squeeze. Rotation of rings makes it sometimes a pain. Value: 4/5 - Lots of pieces, but the pliers aren't very ergonomic. Traces of grease on the handles as well.

Recently reupholstered our RV driver and passenger chairs. This tool was a life saver! Came with gloves! The soft handle and gloves made it more comfortable to use. Multiple sizes helped too! Finished the job with great success!

I purchased this set of pliers that came with rings since I only had a small job to do. It worked very well for re-working my car seats to add heater pads. They are simple to use and the rings were perfect for what I needed for attaching my seat covers back to the car cushions.

Rings are sharp and pliers are easy to set rings… my issue was I ring my pigs nose and the small rings are to small. I only use the large size which work but I don’t need the others. I dip the ring in iodine and then pierce pigs nose as piglets. Helps them from rooting and tearing up their pen.

Op zich werkt het redelijk goed met deze tang. Echter, een groot minpunt zijn de rubber handvatten. Deze handvatten zijn waardeloos en glijden er snel af. Je kan ze er dan ook maar beter gelijk afhalen, dat werkt een stuk beter.

I just received this today and it performed perfectly for my application. I needed to loop a few bungee cords around carabiners and secure them. This worked 100%. Highly recommend this product. The pliers are excellent and easy to use. Multiple sizes of hog rings is great for future needs. Great purchase!!
