Moroccanoil Texture Clay, 2.6 Fl. Oz

Whoa. Did I finally find the perfect hair styling product? I think so. Excellent fragrance, easy to apply, perfect pliable hold, and matte finish. Really impressed with this product. Washes out easily. Doesn’t feel greasy. Easy to style your hair throughout the day. When searching for a new product, I read a lot of positive reviews on Reddit and and for some reason discounted this brand. Finally decided to give it a try after continuing to hear so much high praise. Glad I did. 10/10 highly recommend.

I have thick medium length hair that I usually style up in a quiff/pomp style. This product provides strong all day hold without being "too strong" like a pure clay. My hair can be adjusted throughout the day with no problem. The product is super easy to apply with a creamy texture. It is also very easy to wash off your hands and hair; again unlike a pure clay. Scent is also very light, which I greatly appreciate. For some context, my favorite product is davines clay, which is currently sold out everywhere. I have been looking for a product that works similarly for years. This is the only thing that comes remotely close. I only have minor complaints. The packaging looks cheap, it also takes up more space that similar products. I can't really tell how much is in the container. It looks like it should hold twice as much product than it actually does. The hold is not as nice as the davines and the texture it provides doesn't look as nice either. I haven't used an entire jar yet so I will probably get better results over time. It's good enough for me to want to stick with this product long term to maximize the results for my hair. I also wish the price was lower. While a great product, I would rather pay the extra 2 dollars for the davines clay if it ever goes back in stock. This is a solid backup for me and I am VERY glad I gave this product a chance.

First, I was not paid for this review, and I did not get this product for free. I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on clays, waxes, pomades, fibers, pastes, basically everything, trying to find the right product for my hair. I have A LOT of fine hair, so I write this only to comment on how it works with my hair. This stuff is seriously the best and my absolute favorite! I've tried everything and combined them all even to see if that gave me the result I was wanting. NOPE. If you're anything like me, before I spend money on anything I like to read reviews, and the reviews where people comment on what they've previously tried helped me the most. It let me know they were speaking from experience. Here's what I've tried: *Moroccanoil Texture Clay- 1st PLACE- Pliable, strong hold, matte finish. It seriously holds all day while still leaving my hair soft and re-workable, nice scent (some of these smell like chemically treated river water). *Layrite Cement Clay- 2nd best (the SMALLEST amount is PLENTY, SUPER strong hold- sometimes too stiff) *Hanz de Fuko- 3rd (best for medium-strong hold, or to freshen up my hair in the evening) The rest- still quality products, and I still use them to change my look from time to time, just didn't do everything that I was looking for with my hair. Baxter of California Clay Pomade, Kevin Murphy Rough Rider, Label M Matte Paste, American Crew Forming Cream, Brickell Men's Styling Clay Pomade, Suavacito, Blind Barber, BluMaan and I'm sure I'm forgetting some. In closing, I am ENDING my search...FINALLY. Moroccanoil Texture Clay is worth every penny and I will be subscribing!

Protip: Apply a lot more than you think you need, apply it on almost dry to damp hair and actively create texture with your fingers, fix your hair damp in a way that looks like you want it to look at the end. it’s definitely not a product you can just put on your hair and have your hair just look great, the texture comes from you playing with the hair and creating detail with your fingers, it definitely is healthier for my hair than the GT2BGLUED textured clay, my curls and my natural hair is definitely nicer and less prone to drying and looking dead with this product but the hold can be q little less so I definitely need to apply more to get the job done.

Wow! This stuff is amazing for my fine, thin hair. I have a short, layered haircut and my hair is thin at the crown but I tease it a little and then use this product that works miracles for me!!

Ok, so the smell is like flowers at the beach. So if you are looking for something with an inert smell, this isn't for you. But the smell is actually great once you get into it. Women really will love the way you smell. The hold on this is just fantastic for a medium hold clay. It allows you to redo your hair mid day if need be, and as a guy that likes to run my fingers through my hair. This is ideal. If it seems a bit hard at first, just hit it with the blowdryer for like 20 seconds and you are good to go. It looks great, makes my thinning hair look a lot thicker. The hold is what you wanted but didn't know you wanted. And it's a product that you can always add more later if you want to. And even though it's only 2.6 oz, a little goes long way. You may think you want something cheaper, but you don't. Worth the extra couple of bucks over the other actual comparable brands. And I don't even put any other post styler in my hair. Enjoy!

I have been looking for a great product for my hair to push it to the side or back and saw this brand raved amount on a channel Man for himself. Finally gave it a try. First thing is that this smells great and it is easy to apply. This did have a great hold instantly but this left my hair feeling very very dry even though it has oil in it to help that so refixing and just touching my hair felt weird because it was dry. I could also tell the oil was in there because during shower my hands would have a film on them from product. That being said I switched and tried the cream version and it is the best product I’ve used. Easy to apply and smooth and makes hair soft and holds well. So if you find this product making your hair dry for short or long styles then try the cream

Really works well. I usually wear my hair pretty long. Whe cutting short I really need a good hold. This product does the job without any mess.

Smells fantastic and has ingredients which are healthy for the hair.

La cera definitiva, finalmente. Dopo averne provate tantissime posso dire che non la lascerò mai più. Asciuttissima, quasi secca nel barattolo, ma facilissima da scaldare. Ottima per un effetto spettinato ma non ingessato e 0 pesantezza sui capelli, anche con cute grassa. Meravigliosa.

We used the product after the return window was closed. Once we started using it was of poor quality which we cannot consume and that it is 1kg. We bought earlier of different it was very good. But this experience is very pathetic. Such product should not be sold.

Take it from someone who never writes reviews. This stuff is the best hair clay on the market. I’ve been through countless brands. But I just can’t explain how this stuff does what it does. Natural ingredients healthy for the hair. Insane hold annd texture all day and it’s not greasy one bit. I put it this on in the morning and my hair is still up and in shape all through the day. I have fine hair also which is normally hard to stay up. Incredible product. Never gonna use any other brand again. Well worth the price. Don’t hesitate. Buy it.
