El disco duro viene configurado para utilizarse en mac, pero también es compatible con windows, en mi caso funcionó con windows 10, sólo tienes que bajar la aplicación de la página oficial de seagate, lo instalas en tu PC y ya lo reconocerá automáticamente en cualquier PC, no tienes que instalar la aplicación en cada PC, sólo hace que sea reconocible en windows y listo para usar en cualquier computadora.

Drive was for a MAC and was not recognised by Windows on my laptop. Seller suggested that the drive was suitable for both Windows machines and MAC's which begs the question as to why Seagate would go to the trouble and expense of marketing a MAC specific drive. Seller suggested that I downloaded a program and modified the drive. As this would probably have invalidated any warranty on the drive and might not have worked I declined this suggestion and returned the drive.. There was no indication at all in the description that this item was specifically for a MAC, nor was the drive sealed as described. I am irritated that I have been put to this inconvenience and I now have to find another drive. The item description was, inadvertently or otherwise, misleading. Still waiting for a refund.
