I'm not sure how all those other wifi extenders have such high ratings. I returned 3 different top rated brands from Amazon. I gave up on extenders, till I came across this product on a YouTube review about "2022 top WiFi extenders". I gave it a chance and ordered it. I'm very happy. Strong signal and it registers as it's own EXT network. That makes it so easy to link to. Great product! Me and my neighbor needed extenders to reach our ring cams in our garage. I got mine first to test it and I'm giving him the thumbs-up to order his.

my second one, hard to get started and when it does it works great for 5 minutes then won't work again until you reset it, but when I plug in my mini one (20 feet away) it works every time so it's NOT my connection oh and its 2 walls no metal and 12 feet from the router

It literally took two minutes to set the range extender up. Once it was up and running, the 'dead spots' in my house were connected. This is a quality device. Now my kids at the other end of the house don't bother me with complaints about the Wi-Fi being inadequate or spotty. I placed it at just about the half-way point from my router to the needed area (about 65 ft.) and it works beautifully. My only gripe (not really a gripe, I guess) is that the device sticks out from the wall a good couple of inches and it attracts the dog's attention. Nothing I can't handle or train the dog to ignore so it'll be solved.

So basically it’s actually easy to set up but it’s super odd when setting up, for one definitely use your phone, I had so much trouble on my computer for some reason, two when using computer it doesn’t reset the extender so the WiFi light in the box didn’t turn on which either told me it didn’t work or just wasn’t doing anything once I got frustrated I decided using my phone and after that it was working… other than issue works completely fine and does what it’s supposed to, so with that being said just say use you phone, but hey it works so that’s cool you get what you pay for.

We live in one floor with 2 walls between Reuter and 2nd b/r…set up the extender with Reuter as directed and the reception was poor and intermittent in2nd b/r. We called tech support and after spending about 45 minutes on the phone with us and on our computer stating we had all kinds of issues with the computer and we needed to upgrade our security which We agreed to As a technician seem to know what it is doing and that it would improve our cut the cord reception he then told us We would need to purchase $300 hearing upgrade for our desktop to remedy the problem with the Wi-Fi extender. When we told him we couldn’t afford that he lowered the price but we declined and he Promptly ended his assistance. Certainly seem like a scam to us! Suffice it to say we Returned the extender And purchased a new one that has higher ratings for the type of wall issues we have( not to mention Alexa wouldn’t work in the bedroom anymore either)! Spend a little extra money from the start!

Not signal strength, rolling even in a very small house it was unusable.

Great wifi extension hub. Reasonably easy to set up. Now I have a roughly 250ft radius around my house of solid reliable wifi signal. Would buy again!
