Kilmat sound deadening
These mats are great and really easy to apply I used a hairdryer and craft roller as well as a folded up tea towel to smooth it out the warmer it is the better it flattens out and they really make a difference to the sound deadening and i can certainly notice it when I shut the rear and side doors or the van I felt these were really good value compared to some others and the sheets are in a really handy size and easy to cut up too.

Does what its meant to.
I bought this to use on my van which I'm converting to a camper. To be honest I didn't know what to expect as I have never been in a car/van with sound deadening. I can honestly say that after fitting it there is a marked difference (even my good lady noticed it. It is not the cheapest on the market but definitely not the dearest but it works. I found it really easy to use, the adhesive is very strong and its really easy to cut to shape too. If I need any more I wouldn't hesitate to get it again and I would definitely recommend it.

Works a treat on windows too
One of our bedrooms faces a fairly busy road, which makes it very difficult to sleep comfortably in. The constant droning of speeding vehicles whizzing past all hours of the day has been difficult to live with for years. Nothing seemed to work until I reached the end of my tether and thought I'd give these sound deadening mats a go. I know they're meant for vehicles, but why not on a window?I applied a mirror tint film to the window, so from the outside you can only see your reflection and then placed these mats over the top, covering the whole window from top to bottom.Outside noise has now been greatly dampened. The bedroom is now such a calmer place to sleep in.

Easy to fit and work with, easily shaped with an ordinary sharp knife if needed. Nice to have a product that is this good.

doesn't do it's job
the sound doesn't change at all with this mat, had the same brand (2mm) and i was happy with it but this 1.2mm is just a waste of money and time
