Used for my music back up of 15,000 tracks, that transferred with super speed and with ease. Compact enough to pop in your pocket

Turbo charged a slow Mac
Bought this to deal with a slow iMac. Although only just over two years old, my iMac was painfully slow to boot up (usually taking 5 mins or more), get Mail and open programmes like Pages. I had long discussions with Apple support (who were great) but never really improved the situation very much. However, one of their staff said he ran his old Mac from an external SSD and he suggested I did the same. Hence buying the Samsung drive. It has been a revelation and the Mac is an entirely new machine, with a boot up time of less than a minute and near instant opening programmes and downloading Mail. It’s been brilliant and well worth the effort.The Samsung drive is tiny, a little larger than a credit card so it hides away under the Mac.Very pleased indeed.

Could not get it connected to iPad.
The idea had been to copy 50,000 photos from an iMac so they could be viewed on an iPad.I tried various configurations put forward on YouTube but couldn’t get the iPad to see the T7.Photos copied to T7 OK so fine as an external drive. Probably fine for backups.
