What's the difference, besides the price, between the two of each of the sizes?

Sizes are not standardized and with these I find the small is medium and medium is large even though they give medium measurement

Do they use discreet packaging?

No it was not discreet. It was in my mailbox, no envelope or external packaging. Just a clear package of underwear w/ label stuck on. Showing size in giant letters and obviously colors. I’m disgusted by this lack of discretion or privacy.

The large size is a 36-38 inch waist.

Are these 100% cotton?

Only the solid colors are 100% cotton. The stripes are 25% polyester.
