Works perfectly - with firmware update from Cloner Alliance
I would give this zero stars if i could, as it simply does not work. I own a UHD Lite and Flint 4KP from Cloner Alliance, and wanted to upgrade to passthrough 4K60 with HDR from a Playstation 5.I have never had any problems with my other devices, either recording or streaming, but the 4KP Pro is shockingly bad. It doesn't pass any audio to your TV or your PC / laptop for streaming, and doesn't passthrough 1080p let alone 4k. The attached images are a PS5 at 4k60. I had to capture these on my laptop as my TV was reporting such a low resolution that it didnt even show an image, stating it was unsupported.This device needs some serious development and cannot be used for it's intended purpose.I thought I had received a faulty unit, so contacted Cloner Alliance support. They concluded the same, so i returned the first device to Amazon. Having received a second device from Amazon today it is just as bad as the first. Really disappointing as my other Cloner Alliance devices work so well. Avoid!*UPDATE*I have left the above review intact as this was my impression of the device having ordered two from Amazon, and for others who may be in the same position.The Cloner Alliance support are great, and reply really quickly, and originally thought that the first device was faulty. When I received a second device and still had the same problems, they did all they could to resolve the issue. In the end, Cloner Alliance support emailed me an updated firmware and instructions on how to update it, and it now works perfectly.The images are from the device when the firmware was faulty. If you experience these issues contact Cloner Alliance support for updated firmware.
