Along with diet changes, I took 2 Cholestoffs a day at the heaviest meal, and 1 of these a night along with my high blood pressure meal. There were no significant exercise changes since I have limited mobility . I paper-filtered my black coffee in place of drinking espressos or lattes. Within 3 months, my total cholesterol and ldl were within range.

IT WORKED FOR MY CHOLESTEROL!
I started to take Red Yeast Rice because my doctor (an integrative health doctor) recommended it for lowering my cholesterol levels (I did not want to take regular cholesterol medicines). She also recommended this brand because it contains CoQ10. After 3 or 4 months using them in combination with Omega 3 fish oil, I retested my cholesterol levels and they had gone down 50 points! I must say that I also exercised on a regular basis (3 mile walk 5 times a week) and tried to watch my diet. If you are the type of person who prefers to try the natural stuff before going to the traditional drug industry (like me) Salary Red Yeast Rice is worth trying. I just gave it 4 stars because it is a little bit too pricey for me, but I am still willing to spend my money on natural products....
