BLACKHAWK SERPA Level 2 Duty Holster- Matte Finish

I really like the Serpa holster, I have used one for my other weapons and wanted something I was familiar with. It is reliably one of the best holsters on the market. I like how tight it secures to my belt and the fact that after I set it I know it won’t move from that location on the belt. Overall the holster is just a level 1 holster so not much retention but it does have some which is all I need for my training. I would highly recommend their holster to anyone wanting to have consistently during their holster training and shooting.

This holster is great it holds my Glock 23 perfectly and locks in nicely. It does not quick release off of your duty belt tho. So for any reason you need to remove the holster you have to take the belt loose. But other than that it is a great product.

This is the second Blackhawk Serpa level 2 holster I have purchased. The quality is good and the product durability and price are good. This holster does ride low and I would recommend the mid ride attachment if you are looking for more comfort in a vehicle or chair.

You can dial this thing into an exact amount of pressure needed to disengage the retention system. My wife had no experience with guns at all when she was hired to become an officer. Her station supplied her with the super clunky level 3 duty holster. The training facility she went to was not ran by her department and she already had 1 strike against her for being female (women are incapable of being officers according to cook county Illinois). They had a ball of a time trashing her for not being the ultimate quick draw in the class with her level 3 on the first day she ever live fired the gun while using the holster. This holster flat out solved that problem. Complete new shooter with no experience with guns at all and she was able to quickly draw the gun, get on target and accurately take her shot. You might want to go back to a Level 3 for actual duty use depending in your specific typical day on the street but during training and for competition use this holster is the bees knees. I also like how you can adjust the angle forward and back Fortunately or Unfortunately... This holster doesn't budge once installed on your belt. You can not rotate it or slide it back or fourth... This means when you get into your car it's staying where it is. You can't move it into a more comfortable position. Keep that in mind

This is my second Blackhawk SERPA holster. I bought my first for my M9 service pistol and it served me flawlessly during my deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. It keeps the pistol protected and safe and the draw is super fast and intuitive. I have read reviews that complain that the retention spring wears out but I have never had an issue with this nor ever met anyone in person that has any complaints about their SERPA. It has been packed with Al-Anbar dust, endured 110+ F temperatures and sub-freezing temperatures alike and never once failed me. My first one was a drop-leg holster, so when I bought this one for my civilian Glock 19, I easily unscrewed the M9 holster from the drop-leg platform and attached the Glock 19 holster (after removing the belt clip). It was a piece of cake. At my height, with the drog-leg holster, my fingertips rest perfectly against the retention button, so when I needed my pistol it's as easy as pulling my arm up into firing position. I highly recommend this holster.

Couldn't be happier with this holster fits my Gen 3 glock 17 like a glove. Love the locking feature and how you pull your weapon in a proper shooting hold. If you are looking for an open carry or service holster this is the one to get. I use it mainly for open carry and in the back woods really nice to not have to worry about your pistol and every time you reach down its still there even after running and chasing varmint.

I like to save money like the next guy, but do not go cheap on things your life may depend on. Black Hawk makes excellent products. I use various pieces of their equipment in my daily work. All of the products function flawlessly and are made to high standards. I also have the level II sepra concealment holster for my off duty weapon. It is also a great holster. I have no complaint on any product I use by Black Hawk.

Glock 22 Gen 4 fit perfectly... fast shipping.. They should have showed a picture of the actual clip part.. Didn't realize it screwed on but I just leave the screws out and it still snugly fits onto pants or wherever when you're going to be taking on/off constantly.... Then when I am using on an actual duty belt and don't want it to be able to be taken off I utilize the screws. Fits a 2 and 1/4th inch duty belt by the way!

The retention adjustment screw wasn’t inserted properly, there appears to be some cross threaded.
