Update, May 15, 2024: Today the new battery lasted 100 minutes. Update, May 8, 2024: I sent an email to the manufacturer explaining the battery situation and they sent me a new battery under warranty. Very poor manual because of very small illustrations which are not the same as on the robot, plus does not explain how to delete a setting. A fairly good robot though, cleans well but tends to remain in larger rooms, it starts in the living room of 1,500 sq.' apartment, manages to find the bedroom, but once it exits the bedroom it does not go back to finish the bedroom and washroom. My fix for this is to put it in the bedroom and close the door and let it run until it finishes the bedroom, then take it to the living room. It does not clean near the charging station. Very quiet, bumps very gently. When it is working beside you, you can still hold a conversation. It is very easy to clean the waste bin, roller, wheels and filter. I clean it and wipe off the machine each time I use it, which is twice a month. I find this vacuum very easy to use and clean. It usually runs for about 1.5 hours, then recharges. For $200.00 Canadian it is an okay value. It does not have the headaches and problems associated with programming using cell phones. I understand why manufacturers went that route, but it isn't good. TIPS: do one room at a time. The reason is that the robot learns the room and wastes less time learning multiple rooms. Give it plenty of time to fully recharge between uses. CLEAN IT, CLEAN IT, CLEAN IT after each use - remember to do the wheels, they pop out so easily.

The vacuum is nice. I do miss it having two side brushes on the bottom instead of one. It still helps sweep the floors and gets under the furniture easily. Has not got stuck yet.

Compared with my 3 year old Roomba, this is a better design at a much lower price. The vacuum suction is much stronger than the Roomba so it is better with the bigger stuff: peanuts, whole coffee beans etc. It is at least as good at the Roomba in terms of its pattern. It spends a bit too long finding its way out of tight spots, but when in the open it does an efficient "plow the field" pattern rather than a random walk. It always finds its way home to the charger station. I can't believe how much dog hair it found (which the Roomba didn't get). The dust bucket is a bit small so if your place is really dirty, you may need to empty the bucket half way through. But you can program it to run daily on its own so there is no excuse for your place getting that dirty anyway. It is thinner than a Roomba so it gets under lower furniture. Maybe thats why it beat out the Roomba on the dog hair hunt. I like it so much I got one for my girlfriends birthday. Dont know if she likes hers cause she has stopped speaking to me.

Bought the 11S as our ‘entry’ robovac and we have been super impressed! As parents to two little kids and two cats, this keeps our house crumb and cat hair free. We have two odd spots in our house where it does get stuck - under the lip of the cupboards where the floor isn’t level and under two chairs with angled bottoms. Otherwise it just bumps around and gets pretty much everything! It has actually been nice to not have a program as we can bring it downstairs and upstairs to clean if we want to. We still do a deeper floor clean 1x/wk but it has taken away the daily sweep.

I bought this after Wirecutter recommended it as its "budget pick." I don't know what kind of home the Wirecutter reviewer lives in, but I guess they don't have any: low couches, floor lamps with beveled feet, speaker stands, etc. So, if your house is mostly empty, there's never anything on the floor that could obstruct this dumb robot's path, then go ahead — the cleaning action was mostly okay. But if you have any of those things in your house, its useless. Since it doesn't come with any sort of learning function or digital ability to tell it never to go somewhere (like: "Don't go underneath the couch! You get stuck there!"), the actual use value of this thing is very limited. The user manual suggests a remedy for these problems: you are supposed to "block" those no-go zones by placing objects in front of them. Okay, sure — but if I have to spend any more than a couple of minutes preparing my house to be vacuumed then I may as well use an old-style vacuum myself. Since the whole point of getting a robot vacuum is for it to clean *unsupervised*, this product is a fail.
