works fine with Apple Home but expensive
Update (original review below) - one light doesn’t turn off. Having to rearrange light units to properly working. This is turning out o be a hassle - reducing to 3.5 stars - might come down further if this continues! This has been tested with Apple home and here are our thoughts:-Overall thoughts:- This is a expensive set of lights. At time of writing this 12 light kit was £199.99. given that these are only expected to last 4 years with normal usage, this is £50 a year but you're paying it all upfront. We cant comment on how the individual lights age out yet.Ease of Physical Setup:- It looks a lot worse that it actually is. When we first opened the box we drew and breath and though oh no! where are the instructions - but in reality its pretty intuitive. The base can only be assembled one way and the light units are where you can create your own design. The light units are simple to put together and ours come with wall fixing too.Ease of Apple Home Setup:- This is made easier with the QR code but ours required a reset and we struggled to find the reset "poker". Given that this reset tool is basically nothing more than a small piece of wire it would have been beneficial if a handful of these had been included - once we found it, a simple reset was all that was needed. Within 5 minutes we were playing with the lights in terms of colours and brightness. 3 of these 5 minutes were looking for the reset tool - it literally is that easy!Siri is able to turn on and off and change colours - no additional Siri setup is required as the home app is part of the Apple phone confg.Recommendations:- this is expensive and there is definitely a novelty factor here. we can see these being popular in childrens rooms - perhaps used as a nightlight that can be programmed or overriden by parent on smart phone. older children with their own smart phones will really enjoy this as changing the shapes is easy and fun.

This is just lovely!
The media could not be loaded. These are some dreamy lights! It did not take long to assemble it once I got the hang of it - the only instructions are the ones on the QR code where you get to see a video. Make sure when connecting, the double connectors are the ones that will light every part of the lamp, the single ones are for stability. I have tried first to place it on the stand although I knew I wanted it on the wall, and the stability is not so good - and I tried 2-3 shapes until I decided on the music note shape. For the wall assembly it is very easy, just follow the video and connect the supports in the same shape, make some marks and then drill the holes. I finished in about half an hour and that is because I was indecisive on what shape to get :))) (did not want to drill holes so that I change my mind later). I am very happy with these lights, they give a beautiful atmosphere at night, the colours change from bright to soft and has some soft patterns changing. It worked with Apple and in my opinion, is totally worth the price.

Really great light for the "gamer" / "streamer" look
My daughter watches a lot of game streamers on YouTube and Twitch, and these hexagon light panels seem to be really trendy at the moment. She has seen them on the all in a lot of videos.Setup is pretty simple, the most complicated bit is making sure that you connect the bridging clips correctly. That could be made clearer in the instructions to be honest, but it isn't rocket science. You need to think about the signal flowing into each tile and then outward to any connected tiles, and make sure there is 1 inward link and 0 or more outward links. The kit is supplied with the base for if you want to use it as a table light, this doesn't work very well if you use all the tiles from the wall kit on it! Most layouts end up being very unstable. But if you restrict the table light to just the tiles it came with, and only add the extras if you're fixing it to a supporting wall then it works great. There are differently modes and sound activated gimmicks. Its a lot of fun for a kid to play with once the initial construction is sorted out. The brightness is "accent" or "mood" rather than something you'd light a room with.Great product. Pretty pricey, but there is quite a bit going on with it and it seems well made.

bright and nice soft light shines though
The media could not be loaded. the hexs fit easy together and can make almost any pattern too.note the power lead is USB and the mains plug (which isnt supplied) needs to be 2 amp if you are using more that 7 i think or the lights crash/some might not work. this is explained in the app but not the manuals in the box.after playing around in the app made a custom light which i like on my desk, the app for custom making isnt that clear but if you keep playing around youll get it.
