American DJ heavy duty mirror ball motor for up to 12 inch mirror ball

One part of the description says it will hold up to a 16 inch ball...another part says 12inch.....so...will it hold a 16inch ball?

CAn it run on battery or does it come with power cord only?

Is there a switch on the housing or other way to turn off and on without a standard wall switch?

Can this product be hardwired into a spot for a chandelier instead of plugged into an outlet? I don’t want a cord running across my ceiling.
