For Beginners
I’ve had if for about six months and basically it’s an entry level kit not well thought out. They are constantly changing bits that were poorly designed or don’t work well. Just about everything gets shipped out of China. I ordered the new laser and it took seven weeks. Save your money or splurge on the Sky-Watcher. Far better built. Second option is to buy this used from a frustrated user. More of a toy than an instrument.

read BEFORE you purchase Move Shoot Move products
I purchased the Move Shoot Move combo off of their website. This past weekend the laser failed on me while out in the field (2nd time using it AFTER replacing my 1st laser because of a faulty on/off button). This cost me hundreds of dollars in travel, food, gas, lodging, etc. I left a negative review on the Move Shoot Move website about the laser. Still two weeks later, the laser has a "perfect" 5 star rating, despite my negative 1 star review being posted and authenticated by their "Third" party review company. This is total BS. I am led to believe you cannot trust their reviews or product quality from this Chinese based company. Highly unethical and misleading. I recommend Sky-watcher or iOptron products. These have yet to fail on my friends and they have light-weight options for backpacking too.
