‘Building a culture of innovation’ is an inspiring, empowering and exciting read...
...and one which I found it difficult to put down – a gem of a business book!Cris Beswick, Derek Bishop and Jo Geraghty’s 6 step process guides you neatly through the key stages of mapping the pathway and delivering real organizational change. There is valuable takeaway in every chapter, for businesses of all sizes, from global giants to start-ups.Case studies help to define the essence of innovation and abate any inherent panic at the thought of large scale culture or process change. The concepts of ‘Minimal Viable Product’, ‘smart risks’ and memorable use of the ‘5 Cs’ of Communication and ‘4 Es’ of Employee Engagement bring the ‘3 Is’ of Innovation to life.Practicing what you preach is a core theme of the book, and the book itself is testament to that lesson – it feels collaborative, empowering and engaging throughout. A truly inspiring read, wherever you find yourself on the innovation journey!Natalie JacksonCo-Founder and DirectorTotally Runable

Fine presentation of definitions regarding innovation and framework for introducing this to your organization. However, after the second chapter, the book seems to get wordy without much additional "meat." Despite this, recommend this book as a kickstarter for thinking on building a culture of innovation in your organization.

Thought provoking , unique and engaging book
The book provides a clear explanation of how to recognise the difference between innovation and invention. It recognises the need for innovation and subsequent initiation and embedding of a permanent innovative mind set within the company. The book also explains (in details and with good visuals) the need for leadership, vision, staff engagement, planning and plan implementation. A worthwhile and enjoyable read!
