Perfect for your cnc
I use it to set my router bits in the cnc and it is very precise

Mixed bag initial, but I edited after using it a bit.
The manual has not a single English word, Had to figure out buitton sequences and presses. CR44 Battery is not included, Built pretty sturdy, Heavy, Magnetic base. After a week of using it, it isn't bad, buttons after some experimentation are straight forward and it seemed accurate to a few thousands. You need to Zero it before use by the ring around the sliding button and it gives you a few millimeters up or down. I decided to keep it to check the calibration of my CNC electronic tool setter.

Returned, but might be OK depending on your needs
I returned this, in part, because it didn't actually include the battery and I had to go track down one from my caliper - only thing I could find that used this size of batter - which, wasn't actually given anywhere, so it appears to be that size... Who knows... instructions are not in English, pictures show putting in a battery.Screws to hold the battery are SUPER tiny, requiring a crazy small screw driver to open.. I would have preferred that it have screws that were much larger. Was kind of expect it to have a light that lit up when you were > 0 (or < 0 - when there was pressure pushing down on it)For my use, it was too tall, which, isn't really a problem with the device, it says how big it is, but it was hard for me to update 50mm in the software (UCCNC), however, maybe I should type in +-50 in order for it to subtract (and negative) 50mm off the position.... That is more of a software issue for the software I'm using, not the devices issue, so I didn't remove stars for that.I removed 2 stars for no battery, no light, screws too small to use... Eyes are not as good as they used to be at that size... Hard to use... Oh, also, if you are sitting so you are looking down at an angle to this thing, you can't read it. I was looking down at a 45 degree angle or so - because my machine was lower than my chair... Couldn't read anything, needed to shine a flash light on it... Either using an LED screen, or a backlight would have been nice. (or having a LED that lights up when it is being pressed on)
