Very poor build quality
First, I'd like to make clear that I was taken care of with this bike by Amazon. With that said, this is my personal experience with this bike:1. Rear track dropouts were over painted, the rear wheel was shoved in and was unable to move freely and the drops were not straight2. Paint was chipping off around the drops, headtube and around the bottom bracket3. Both wheels were severely out of true4. Front fork was bent at the drops on one side and the drilled out brake stay was not centeredThose are the largest issues. I have built bikes for many years so I'm more than capable, but due to State's warranty requirements, I sent this to my LBS to assemble. The above issues were the biggest issues, but there were also issues like the freewheel literally having no grease inside it, the chainring having severe wobble, the headset being so tight, it couldn't be moved before adjustment and more. It's very clear that State Bicycle has a quality control issue. It's really a shame because it's a beautiful looking fixed gear but these issues are unacceptable and potentially unsafe. With all that said, Amazon immediately remedied my issues and made me whole on this.In conclusion, while I'm sure this is not something that happens all the time with State, I feel you would be substantially better off buying something like a Fuji Track, Raleigh Rush Hour, Throne Track, or even Mercier Kilo TT
