Perfect for Acme Punching Animation Paper
I bought this for a different purpose entirely — I’m an animator who uses paper, and acme hole punches are super expensive. I used a single piece of genuine acme paper to make a template, and now I use this punch for the oblong holes & a normal punch for the center hole. I do maybe 5 sheets at a time? It’s slow but effective, and I’ve seen some people jerry-rig their own acme 3-hole punch using a pair of these + a normal punch. Point is, this is the exact correct size for making acme-punched animation paper, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Works for what I needed. No cap for the clippings so make sure you watch where you are pointing it. Wish the handle had plastic or rough texture as it is pretty hard to use to cut through plastic ID cards.

Durable long lasting well built
These are tough! It’s going to be hard for you to break these even if you drop them. The slot it punches into your paper has a crisp clean edge. Well built and a quality product for the money

Hard to punch with this item in a single hand you have to use two hands to get it to punch through
I had searched for a hole puncher that would punch in the vertical blinds and this was one of them in the review that stated it was one of those hole punchers when I did receive it it was very hard to squeeze it and put a hole through the PVC not only that it was longer and a little bit not as wide as I hoped it would be so I went to order a second one hoping that it would be a little bit less to punch it but no I was left with the same type of incident I lost track of time forgot to return the first one and then the second one got lost somewhere along the way I'm not sure but if anybody has a very you know it's hard to grip and it's hard to punch so handheld one with a lever might help much better
