There door locks are what’s on my old house and they came with the door knob’s that locks with the same key is a plus for security. I would buy again and recommend them.

... for a few years I found this lock quite easy to install
Having worked as a locksmith for a few years I found this lock quite easy to install. I gave the instructions a quick glance and though they were a little abbreviated for a novice, however, if you are handy with tools you'll figure it out. You are going to need a 1-1/4 inch hole drill, a couple other drill bits and, of course, a power drill and a Philips screwdriver. If your door is made of wood everything should go OK, but if the door its clad in steel you may want to reconsider installing it yourself. At the very least, make certain that your 1-1/4 hole drill and drill bits are made for use with metal. As far as security, like most entry door locks it's only as secure as the door and the door frame. So, in most cases, a good swift kick and the bad guy is in. With this lock you may want to substitute two of the screws that hold the piece that attaches to the jamb with a couple of screws that are longer - it may help a little. This lock is NOT pick-proof, but all-in-all, a decent value for the money.

Hard to break in
Great Price. Good Quality.A metaphor is a comparison without using "like" or "as". So if you would say "Her face turned as red as a tomato" it would be wrong, but you could say "She turned tomato-red" and you would be right. You have to think about your subject, lets say being down on your self and a friend helps lift your spirits. Now you have to mirror that situation to another situation that's the same... You can do this metaphorically by using something like a flower not getting any water and is slowly fading until someone comes by and waters it making it grow strong again. That little paragraph about the flower and the water would be a metaphor for a friend helping a friend. That’s what I am doing here with this review.

Get your own screws
Mechanism seems fine. Provided screws are worse than garbage. You'll want to get your own.

Exterior door extra security
This was a little more difficult to install than we had anticipated, but once it's up, it's SOLID. We placed this on the inside of an exterior door that leads out to the deck for extra security. So the door we placed it on pulls IN to open, it fit perfectly find on the door jam with a little adjustment.I used to have one of these on my backdoor as a child, this one is not the heavy iron from my childhood, but still solid metal. Comes with two keys for locking.

Works just fine
I had a preexisting hole in my door from where someone had removed and tossed a previous lock; the original strike plate for that lock was still screwed to the doorjamb. After I drilled two new holes for the side screws, this one fit beautifully where the previous lock had been. I didn't have to replace that original strike plate -- this lock uses it just fine. (The style doesn't match, but I don't care -- it's a back door.) The latch button flips smoothly, works exactly as it should. No problems getting additional keys made for it, and it is much(!) easier to use than the doorknob lock.
