Yes,22 1⁄2 will fit well because of good elasticity and soft bamboo fabric.This cap is one size fits all. We are sure you will feel the bamboo cap so soft,cool and comfortable.

It's a 'one size fits all' basically. The elasticity of the fabric of the hat allows it to expand without feeling tight if you need that. I have a hard time finding hats that are not too tight and cause me to get a headache so that is why I ordered this one and am so glad I did. It stretches to fit my head very comfortably. So glad I purchased it. Just what I need and was hoping for.

I've handwashed mine and put it in the dryer and I haven't had any problems. I'm thinking it could be washed in the washer with no issues.
