I was hoping for something that felt and looked like my felco 2's for a family member
Not exactly the bargain I was looking for. I was hoping for something that felt and looked like my felco 2's for a family member, without the price tag. Unfortunately these are not even as good as a nine dollar pair of fiskers from HD. They are heavy!!! The locking mechanism doesn't work and their cut is sub-par at best. Even on more herbaceous plants the cutting capabilities are awful. The cleaner the cut the less like the plant will suffer from "infection" from its new "wound". They just don't even compare to a pair of cheap Corona's. Worst of all, I get emails from the company begging for a good review saying that is the only way they can thrive. I'll tell you what, your product should speak for you, as a company.Bottom line cut rate pruners at a high price, at least for the quality, I'll never make the mistake of trying felco knockoffs again.

Not Tabor - and made in China
I guess I'm naive, but I was expecting these to be made by Tabor. Instead, I got shears made by Simply Home Basics, who I have never heard of and whose web site doesn't work. Probably going back to Amazon.

Pruner not usable
Please note and the spring is missing so the blade jams when it is closed so you need to pry open the pruner blades by hand to make a second cut. Have lubricated cutter blades, not left in the rain. Think it is time for another brand! But I tried to try a new Tabor pair!I now have a new pair of this pruner that arrived in a HUGE box, wrapped in wads & wads of paper...but NOT A Single folder explaining proper use and maintenance...not even a spare spring,,,oh and the spring on my first one broke...possibly because I did not have the directions for care and maintenance!
