Great customer support
I bought the Thermomate cook top back in December of 2024. I did not install it until March 21, 2025. After completing the installation, upon checking each cook spot, I discovered there are broken pieces inside the stove, sitting on top the of the heating element. As a precaution. I uninstalled it from the countertop and contacted Thermomate's Customer Support. The support team has responded promptly to get the issue identified and the unit replaced. I used Thermomate cooktop in the past. It's features (touch control, timer for each stove...) and quality are great. The five stars go to the Customer Support team.

Cooktop - Did Not Last Long
Purchased this cooktop originally and it lasted about 7 months before one of the burners randomly staying on. Extremely dangerous, I woke up one morning and noticed it was on all night and only way to turn off was from the breaker. I contacted support and was given a new replacement. Now the replacement unit sparked/broke and it is out of warranty. The product is not durable. It lasted 3 years. I would expect a stove/cooktop to last longer than that. Will take business elsewhere. Don't waste your $ with their products.

Works decent. A little hard to clean. Looks beautiful.
The stove is easy to install. Had to hire an electrician. He got it in but had to spice wires with our older stove to use it with our current box. The stove looks really nice and modern. It is a bit hard to get cooked on stuff off of it but that happens on a rare occasion. Pans can slide when it is wet with drips if you aren't careful. Everything is spaced out nice on it even for larger pans and I used the center mostly but was able to easily get many pans on it while cooking for Thanksgiving. One downfall, the stove is a bit hard to clean completely. I usually let it soak a bit with spray. One other issue is that the stove takes a little bit longer to heat up. I have to turn it to 9 and then that is the highest setting so I have to wait for it to heat up then turn it down a bit. It takes longer than my old coil stovetop. As far as looks go, it's sleek and ultra modern. It looks stylish and I was so happy to get rid of the previous knobs so I can set things flat on it. I do like the lock function. It makes it hard to press buttons when you are setting things on top like groceries. It does allow me to use the space like a counter top when I am not cooking. That lock will come in good for small children. However a password would be good so if they are smart enough to press that unlock button it would be easy to turn on. Over all I would give it an 8 stars for beauty, function, and durability. I wish it would heat a bit faster but otherwise it's a good stove top if you are looking for a modern look. I have had zero problems with the electrical components or burners so far.

Replacement stovetop
I purchased this stovetop to replace an older different brand. Delivery was timely, packaging was excellent and delivered to our local post office in rural AZ After one year, we had an issue with one burner that would not turn off with out turning off the actual breaker. I contacted Thermomate immediately. Their customer service representatives Mia and others were understanding, and cooperative. They asked me to provide video and photos of the issue. They contacted their Tech team who agreed to provide me with a free replacement that our electrician hard wired into the existing space. Again delivery was quick and packaging and directions were excellent. Can’t thank this company enough for standing by their product.

Great Customer Service from Seller
The product worked as it should until after about a year and a half when we ran into an issue. I reached out to the seller who was very immediately communicative and polite. They helped to very patiently trouble-shoot and determined the best course of action was a replacement. It was a pleasant customer service experience with a real human touch which was greatly appreciated. I seemed to be speaking to the same customer service representative even though the trouble-shooting took place over the course of days. I would purchase products from the vendor again given the customer service interaction.

Perfect cooktop!
The media could not be loaded. Came in on time and packaging was perfectly packed! Took it out of the box to be surprised that the cut out template was in the box to make it easy for installation if one hasn't had the countertop cut out yet. No cracks No scratches! Wires it in and everything works as its supposed to! Only thing I recommend is if you have a 30 amp breaker to upgrade it to a 40 amp. Takes a little more power when using double burner and a single burner. But other than that HIGHLY RECOMMENDED especially for the price!

Takes forever to boil water
Purchased this about 2 years ago have hated it since the moment it was installed. This seemed like a great deal, as the name brand cooktops like this are between $900 and $1300. Turns out, you get what you pay for. While the burners seem to work okay for most things, boiling water in a standard stockpot (like you would use for a box of spaghetti) takes some patience. If you fill the pot with hot water, place a cover on tightly, and turn the dual burners on the highest setting, it will take about 20 minutes to get the water to start a rolling boil. If trying to boil in a larger stockpot (one with a few gallons for a boiled dinner or something), plan on waiting a good 45 minutes or more if there are cold vegetables or meat in the pot. Also, the buttons are finicky. Often have to go through the unlock process a few times to turn it on. Aside from that, it works okay for everything else. But it was annoying enough that I replaced it with a brand name this afternoon and the difference is night and day.
