Table Top
I decided to try BORA’s folding table top and it certainly meets the design requirements. However, I’m 70 and it’s heavy to handle and you must be careful when folding it. The best way to open it is like a book, with the hinges to your left or right. This way you can control it and avoid possible damage to the hinges or fingers. It’s very sturdy and is easy to secure to the BORA legs. I was using a 4x4 piece of half inch plywood which works well too, but spent the money to buy their table top. It’s more expensive than it should be IMHO, but I like the idea of folding for portability. If I was still working in the field, I wouldn’t buy it.

Nice but dangerous and expensive
Really expensive for what it is. I bought 2 and substituted a piece of my own 3/4 in MDF for the center panel. Finger pincher for sure.

Folding up shop….
Badass. Space saver for sure. Portable. Project bench. Get the taller version and go bigger than you think you need, zero regrets. I have two complete 2x4 plus tops and it’s perfect.

Good ideas but major pain in the ass to assemble
Bought 4 of these for my 4x8 36” high work stand. The concept is great, execution not so much. -lining up the connecting slots was a major pain and could never get the things all square to the stand. -the pegs dont always grab and turn, needed to force down the recessed round metal holder in order to turn the pegs -started feeling a couple of saw horses and sheet of plywood would be a easier solution

Not worth it.
It's actually smaller than the frame so it cheats itself out of proper support. The connection pins don't fit through it very well. The metal retainers in the board move and don't like to allow the pins to lock in properly. The board is uselessly heavy. The board hinges the wrong way so you have to try to open it and then in its full extension lay it on the supports. Poorly designed and executed product from top to bottom. Making my own top into this is going to become a toolbox topper.

Attachment handles are challenging
Like it overall. I find attaching the top to the base a bit tricky as it’s hard to get my hands in to turn the handles.

Emits a strong VOC smell
Returned this product because it emits a very large amount of VOC off-gassing. This is likely formaldehyde being released from the low quality MDF used for the panels. Even after a week out of the box, it was still strong enough to make it difficult to be in the same room with it. The product is probably fine for use outdoors, but would not recommend it if you plan to use it indoors. In addition, although the product is very sturdy, it's quite awkward to setup due to its heavy 27.5 lb weight.
