Oily Complexion
As with other reviews I’ve read this doll also arrived with an oily face. I wiped it down with a dry cloth then patted it down with a little talc which appears to have gotten rid of its oily complexion. It’s very well made and being a silkstone doll is very heavy. I’m happy with my purchase.

Best Ken Silkstone Doll So Far!
This is a wonderful, near-flawless interpretation of the original Ken doll, issued in 1961.Beautiful face paint and flocked hair - great body, which is aided by the heaviness of the Silkstone itself - this is a 'heavy' doll, but so are the 1961 original dolls.Quality abounds here, no rubbery limbs in sight! I would snap one up, while you can.....

Imperfect Goods
The neck of the head is larger than the neck of the body - is therefore misaligned. There is an imperfection near the ankle of one of the feet - it looks like the finish is peeling off.

I LOVE HIM BUT....
The first time I opened his box I was immediately taken aback by how VERY shiny his face was. Tissue patted the sheen away but it quickly returns... What is this substance, is it toxic??? I dont want Ken with an bad/oily skin problem.

Was eigenlijk heel blij met de pop zeer mooi verpakt alles. 1 min punt en dit is een geweten min punt is dat er een soort plakkerig product op het hoofd aanwezig was. Maar dit krijg je er zelf wel makkelijk af. Voor derest heel blij met de aankoop !

Love this silk stone doll a lot was glad I got a 60th but sad no clothes for him yet. Definitely one worth having in your collection. Very heavy comes with a stand. Just wash you towel to shape it on to the doll. Neck was perfect no defects or anything. Now all I need are the clothing packs like they use to make back In the day hurry up Mattel My ken needs more clothes.

Well, this one is most definitely not a toy. It is heavy, the material is porcelain-like. It's not really a posable doll. It is very beautiful, though, it comes with a stand. For adult collectors.
