Good parting tool
This is not a easy wood tool but it is ok...I used a diamond hone on it and it did help...but when buying don't expect it to perform like a easy wood tool....get your diamond hone out and put more of a edge on it...for the price vs easy wood tools..it is worth it....

This is worse than any parting tool I have used. It doesn’t cut anything.

disappointment seems to be the norm with these tools
it was blunt on the cutting edge , not sharpened at all i had never used one like this so i had no line to follow to sharpen it ,, it was ,,,is,,, a wreck ,,i chunked it in the corner of the shop and went back to the one i made

Parting tool
Couldn’t even begin to part a puece of walnut. The only parting it will do is with me. Do not buy this. Worst woodturning tool I’ve ever used.

Good parting tool
I bought this to replace a diamond shaped HSS parting tool that has a wide tip and doesn't hold an edge well. This is sharp out of the box and easy to control. It comes with an extra cutter, but the original is holding it's sharpness well and haven't had to replace it yet.
