Great colorful key tags for labeling and organizing all my keys
These plastic key tags are great! They are small and light. They come in 10 bright colors to help quickly identify your keys. The key rings are small but sturdy. It's easy to insert your own labels. Just remove the ring and the white insert and clear window will slide right out. I printed labels on plain paper using Microsoft Word. I chose 14 point Calibris font and it was easy to read and fit my text in the available space. I used one of the white inserts that came with the key tags as a template to trace around. Then I cut each label out and inserted it between the white insert and the clear window in the key tags. Replace the ring and the job is done. My keys are so organized now. I know what every key unlocks.

Simple key tags in a range of colors!
An example of simple stuff done well! Super handy for tagging keys, locks, about anything needing a tag. Durable and flexible plastic, a wide range of nice colors, and inexpensive to boot. I use lots of them, and they just work great for me.

Value for money, and serves its purpose....
Quality: I would say that these key tags are of fairly good quality. They are not the most premium grade quality, but neither are they cheap to the point of breaking easy. When I ordered them, I was really hoping that the key rings were not going to be super thin. Which they were not! I was happy to find that they are made of a fair gauge metal and can comfortably hold the weight of a bunch of keys.Price: You get 40 fair to good quality key tags for just $5.99. So that's for sure some good value for money.Ease of Use: Before I comment on the "ease of use", I just want to point out that the plastic is semi soft and flexible/bendable as shown in the pictures. Now there are some reviews that indicate that it's hard to get the white paper out of the key tag to label it. I will agree that it does take a bit of effort. But once you've done it 2-3 times, you'll get the hang of it. The secret is to bend the key tag enough, so that the opening through which the white paper is to slides out, is widened. Then use your other hand to slide the white paper and plastic out. Label your paper, and then slide it back in in a similar fashion. From my point of view, it "should" take a tad bit of effort to slide the white paper out. That is to ensure that the white paper that you tag doesn't easily slide/fall out when using the key tag on a daily basis.Overall: I thing this is a fairly good set of key tags, especially for the price. It's good value for money, serves it purpose well, and had definitely helped me get my keys in order.

Read the instructions!
Like so many of you, when I’m considering a purchase I turn immediately to all of the one star reviews. For this product, almost all negative reviews were concerning how difficult (if not impossible) it was to get the paper label out and then back in. The problem was they were not doing it properly - they were trying to get the paper out and then back in thru a narrow slot on the back of the tag. Wrong. Just remove the split ring and the paper falls out easily and was easy to put back in. Also when you write on the paper (especially with a gel pen) give the ink time to dry so it won’t smear when you put it back into the key tag.The product is great, a good value, and does the job. The split ring is sturdy and better than many on a product like this. Highly recommended.

New use for key labels
I found this item perfect for labeling my portable flash drives that contain different information. I also wish to disclose that the slot to slide the label in and out is a little tough to re-insert.

Inexpensive Option For Labeling
These tags are pretty thin in quality. They would never last as a keychain or something that gets daily use. The keyring part itself is pretty basic and cheap and not designed to withstand long term use. The paper insert is not secured well and requires a dab of glue or some tape to keep it in place. Permanent marker is about the only thing I could find to print on the paper label insert. These tags do work well, however, to label thumb drives or keys that do not get daily use, and the size is coinvent for doing so.
